Frequently Asked Questions

  • What happens when I come for a massage?

    Typically the process will involve:


    Consultation: You will have a consultation before your treatment begins to discuss any particular concerns, preferences (deep tissue for example) that you have or any allergies.


    Preparation: Your therapist will then leave the room so you can lay on the treatment bed in your underwear, covered with a towel.


    Massage: The therapist will then begin the massage, working on different parts of the body.


    Finish: At the end of the treatment, you will usually be given a few moments to come round and a glass of water will be provided. You will then get dressed and let your therapist know you're ready to pay for your treatment and leave.


  • Do you massage men and women?

    Mindful Moments is a professional massage therapist and understands that we can all benefit from the treatments offered. We have many male clients, who often book deep tissue, lymphatic drainage, and Swedish massage treatments.


  • What should l wear for my massage treatment?

    I recommend my clients wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing. I ask that all clients wear pants/knickers when receiving their massage.


  • Can I combine massage treatments in one session?

    Absolutely. I will work with you to work out the best combination for your needs and budget. 



  • How many massage treatments will I require?

    It depends. A course of treatment may be required for your needs. A consultation is done at the first booking, and we can discuss whether a treatment plan is needed and whether any bulk booking discount can be applied.


  • How often should I get a massage treatment?

    This depends on a number of criteria. Most clients aim for one treatment a month to suit their budget. You may find that more regular treatments have a greater impact, however the monthly approach can help maintain better well-being.


  • Are there massage discounts for block bookings?

    Yes. I will always seek to provide the best value for my clients, and will offer discounts for block bookings.



  • Can I buy a massage gift voucher for someone else?

    Yes you can. I can provide an E-voucher by email or a hard copy. You can pay by cash in person, Paypal, or by bank transfer.
